Melukat

THE PURIFICATION CEREMONY

SOUL RECONNECTION

The Melukat ceremony is a ritual to cleanse the body - both spiritually and physically, from our present life as well as past lives, from the negative elements by washing the body in holy water.

This very spiritual ritual takes place in the mountains where the rivers meet and are fed by natural spring water which feed the organic crops that grow in the area.

FIRST,

At the ceremony, you will encounter Mangku (Balinese Healer) who will start off your session by studying your energy, your name, and chakras. Through this reading, he will make an evaluation of any current imbalances and of those from your past lives (Karmas) that may need purification.

Through this reading, the Mangku will understand the purpose of the Purification Cleansing Ritual that you will have.

THEN

You will then be led down to a valley of rice fields, neighboring a rocky river. The ritual will commence with prayer to ask permission to the Gods in holding this ceremony Incense and offerings will be placed in various areas of the river where the ceremony will take place as an offering to the Gods.

LAST,

You will proceed to various areas of the river, where nine levels of purification will take place to throw off any past negative actions and traumas. Each of these steps involves a different ritual. Each one has a different meaning, a different purpose.

You shall be requested to drink from the river at different steps, at each stop a specific number of times, all to cleanse your soul. All to open yourself to the divine and welcomed in your entire positive outcome and visions into the present.

After the ceremony, you will share time with the Mangku over a meal where he will reply to your questions and once again, do a reading to see if the Purification ceremony washed away any unbalances. If not, be ready to come back again!

This is a very unique and special experience. The Mangku requests that those who are in need attend this ceremony. Not just those who want.

For this ceremony, it is requested that you wear the traditional ceremonial sarong. The river is cold and you will be requested to emerge your whole body into the river. Towels will be provided and it is requested that you bring a separate change of warm clothing. Certain areas are slippery, so we request that only those who are physically fit attend this ceremony.

Water represents the flow of energy (known as prana or chi), connecting our emotions and intuition. The flow of water guides daily life in Bali. According to Balinese believes, that water is one of the key forces of life.
